AAN vs MC2 block

Well, I finally have some definitive answers rather than hearsay:

These two blocks are different. The AAN uses an independent sliding timing
belt tensioner than mounts to the front of the block requiring 3 threaded
holes. The MC2 does not have them. The snubber mount on the AAN also uses a
different boss or two for its location. I will be posting pictures showing
these differences as well as the differences between all blocks Audi made
(eventually) for everyones reference. Cheers!
