Louis-Alain,

As for the height adjustment, I've added it to a Rabbit, but the
spacing between the rails is different. What we did is pulled the
bottom from a second gen Scirocco on the passenger side and used it on
the passenger side of the Rabbit. However, the height adjustment is
also on the inside of those cars. Another option would be to use the
power mechanism from a 16V Jetta. I'm sure you could retrofit it to a
4000 adjustable seat, then you could put the switch wherever you want.
