Advice solicited on dealing with VW

No, not that bad...I've got toll roads to make it worse, but after I 
sent the email I realized that my friends calculations during the 
conversation where he came up with $35 were off.  Figure on four gallons 
per day with a 95 mile round trip at $3.25/gal, plus $9 in tolls so it's 
only $22 a day.  Unless he was figuring the $.42  per mile allowance for 
mileage, wear and tear and fuel that we can charge on trips...
