It's to add trans fluid, that's all. To check it, you will have to get
a dipstick, either from the dealer or someone who has bought one.
Starting with the V8Q's, Audi didn't put a dipstick in the cars form
the factory. They have lifetime, never leak transmissions, don't you
know? :-D
As for the rest, you have it right. Idling in neutral or park, level
surface, trans warm.
