Kent,
I have a 94 100CS non-quattro and the "official" Audi repair manual lists "Dipstick 02 with Part No. 01F 321 431 A" for both the quattro (01F) and non-quattro (01K) versions of the automatic transmission. I also have a 92 100CS Quattro Avant (for sale) and I have used this dipstick for both of my cars.
Consider yourself fortunate because I just bought a 2004 Allroad and there is NO dipstick tube! All access for fluid level checking and filling is from under the car. The filling procedure involves running the engine at idle while hand pumping the new trans. fluid next to the hot exhaust pipe while the car is on jack stands. Very exciting to say the least.
HTH,
Jim

So it's like the V8 in that regard. Thanks for the info.
(goes off to do some research)
The Family Album shows 2 part numbers for it.
01F 321 431 A "oil dipstick" for transmission codes CEZ, CDE, CNT
(used from 1/92-7/92, 7/92-7/94, 10/93-7/94)
01F 321 431 A "oil dipstick" for transmission code CBF
F >> 4A-R-033 426
(used from 7/91-8/92)
and
01F 321 431 B "oil dipstick" for transmission code CBF
F 4A-R-033 427 >>
(used from 7/91-8/92)
Sans measurements, I guess I need the "A" suffix.
