strut tower brace for type44

Did you make this yourself? It looks different from the 2Bennett kit. Their kit
has a bend in it to get around the MC, but the problem is the plates that go
over the towers interfere with the stock sheetmetal braces. Did you have to cut
anything? If not, maybe I could find a different plate that could work with the
2Bennett bar... TIA.
