turbo coolant line and question

A reminder to turbo owners...check your rubber coolant line to the turbo.
I had replaced mine 4-5 years ago, not sure what I used, and it developed  
a leak recently. As I was starting to remove it for replacement it broke  
up like glass. And you know how fast it can drain the coolant when it lets  
go.

Now a question,  what size is the hose on the left side of the block?   
Below the thermostat and slighty to the rear.
