New to San Diego - seeking local audifans, mechanic recomendations and salvage yards

Hi fellow Audifans,

I just relocated to SD and am looking for a little help in finding local
connections.  Had to sell (3) Audi's back east but just bought a 100 quattro
and a VW gti.  Boy, I am a little dissapointed with the VW affter driving
Audi's exclusively for the last 10 years...

I have downgraded from a house to an apt, so my ability to turn wrenches in
my own yard has now all but come to a stop.  I am wondering if there are any
audifans here, who get together at all occassionaly?  Also I am seeking
referals for a good garage preferably around OB, PB, Point Loma
area, and any salvage yards in San Diego county where I can do some of my
own part(s) picking.
