A6 suspension refurb

You should also check the tie rod ends.  On my B5 2001.5 S4, the
tie rod ends wore out recently at 68K miles and made some creaking
noises and a feeling of looseness.  Replacing them fixed it.  The
control arms, bushings and shocks are actually in good shape.

My S4 is still solid, and since it has a firmer suspension than the A6
and I'm riding on 18x8 B6 S4 wheels with 235/40-18 tires, I think the
A6 should have no trouble with staying solid with a slightly firmer
suspension as well.
