My wires to the sensor are connected with alligator clips, is there a better
way?

Fix the 2322 first, the 2141 may be a symptom of 2322.

2322 is the air temperature sensor. It's usually caused by the wires
breaking somewhere from the engine to the sensor in the inter-cooler. First do a
gut-check on the sensor itself. You can find how to do this here:
_http://www.sjmautotechnik.com/trouble_shooting/boost.html#air_
(http://www.sjmautotechnik.com/trouble_shooting/boost.html#air)

If the sensor is ok, then do the check at the ECU. Even if the ECU side
check is ok it could be an intermittent open or short, so inspect the wiring,
especially at the connector to the sensor.

If the sensor is open, or the sensor is bad and reading hotter, the ECU will
think you have hot, less dense, air and will lean out the mixture. This can
cause pinging, and the 2141 code.

Hi All
I have an 88 5KTQ I have finally gotten the fault codes 2141, and 2322

2141, I running regular gas is this the problem or could it be something
else?

2322, "Open or short circuit Defective sensor or wiring Symptom: Slight power
loss, Increase in fuel consumption", what causes this?
