Inlet air temp sensor

Hi all

 

I have a quick question about Inlet Air Temp Sensors

 

On my 200 10v MCII the resistance of the IATS is 398 ohms at about 12
celcius.

 

My Bentley says that the value should be between 400 and 700 ohms, but does
not give me a temp / resistance relationship or say what temperature I
should be testing at.

 

Questions are:

1 does the IATS lose resistance with increasing temp or is mine telling the
mac 14 that the air is as hot as it's going to get?

2. does anyone have a graph, or just 3 data points that would allow me to
plot temp against resistance for this sensor?
