Right,  Communications-wise, these are fairly stupid.  You basically have two
usable wires  transmit and receive.  I don't even think this has CTS/RTS, or
any handshaking wires, no power - you connect to it and it is there. You can
change speed using the config. Software - Megatune.

But "going wireless" requires software: you can't install drivers on the
MegaSquirt unit, and the wireless isn't going to "automagically" happen on the
MegaSquirt side of the equation.   Maybe Megasquirt -> R232 -> USB ->
Bluetooth, but again, I think the driver/firmware/software would still be
missing to make this work, and that's what you're paying for when you get a
nice tidy package like the product I and others have found.
