Nick,
Obviously a 9003 LL would last significantly longer, as they have much more
robust filaments.  How stiffly sprung is your car?  Harsh ride and/or
vibrations might be part of the problem.  Of course, the 9003xv burns hotter
than a standard 9003 or 9003LL, which also contributes.

That said, I've had good luck (multiple years) with the Silverstars in my
Escalade and Corvette Z06.  That would be the 9003st.  Might be worth buying
a pair and seeing how long they last.  Might be a better deal for you, even
though they are more expensive.
