Subject: stuck odometer, type 44, infamous gear is intact

Scott, speedo is working fine.
I found datasheet fro UAF2115 - the chip which drives speedo and 
odometer- on the web.  It helped me to figure out the pins on speedo/odo 
little PCB.  Now I need to find oscillator to simulate the signal from 
that wire you mentioned.  Then I can play with it.
