5 of '86 5ktqCD = '85 US spec??

I've got an '86 5ktqCD. It's got what I'm used to calling the non-turbo hood, which of course was the only hood '85 and prior. Tonight I noticed that the bumper attaches differently then all of my US spec cars... it's got bolts going through the front of the bumper level with the ground instead of the vertical ones I'm used to. Then I noticed the engine code was KH, and I thought the TQ's had MC's starting in '86.

Whats the deal?
