MAC-14 Diagnostics

Thanks. It is supposed to work.  I was wondering if anyone had specific experience
trying to run diags on the MAC-14 cars.  

 

VAG-COM works fine on my ’90 Coupe Quattro and on my ’91 200Q20V, so I disagree with
your statement as it is very general.  VAG-COM and others are supposed to be able to
retrieve codes from the late 200 10V which used MAC-14 ECU.

VAG-COM can do very little on pre-1996 cars and, if it can, it works usually on early
1990's cars with a 2X2 aadpter.  ross-tech website would show exact functions.
