MAC-14 Diagnostics

1594 is basically a set of jumper leads with some adaptors to fit in
VAG wiring sockets and such. US-1115 is an LED test light, for which a
common logic probe may be substituted. VAG-1551 (and the later 1552)
are the OE scan tool which VAG-COM emulates.

^ Thats the logic probe I have, and I couldn't live without it. The
cord is long enough to connect one end to a 911 battery (*JUST* behind
the front bumper) and test the license plate bulb sockets, but the
coils wind nicely enough that when not stetched its only a few feet
long so its not a PITA to store. Awesome for diagnosing wiring issues,
just be sure to remember that it is showing you "yes there is ground",
"yes there is power", or "no" but it doesn't care how much power nor
does it care about iffy connections. To light the LEDs takes a
miniscule ammount of current and only 3 volts.
