Window Molding

That was my fear - that it should have been done to start with.

The problem w/the silicon is that I believe the molding is supposed to
create pressure such that it has a tight seal.

Would I be risking a lot to try and push the rear windshield out, and
installing the molding properly, then reinstalling the glass?

The other option I have is to break the molding, more or less at the
bends. This way I can slide it in.

why not mask it off carefully and pump it full of rtv silicone.
