'95 A6 Question

Thanks,

I knew that the 90's of that era had the folding rear seats and I guess I
just figured that the Audi folks knew that would be an excellent idea.

The trunk is huge compared to my 80q, and I have put the 80q and old 200q
20v ski sacks to very good use, but foldable rear seats would be a godsend.

At the very least the A6 would be a considerable upgrade over my 80q, so it
is still probably worth it.

I wonder if the Avant seats can be retrofitted into the sedan??
Bueller...Bueller?

I've used the ski bag in my V8s and 200q20v sedan to carry up to six 2X4, a
couple 2X6 and/or a couple 2X8 in lengths long enough to go from the dash
through the trunk and hang out past the rear bumper (with a red flag on the
end). You can get an 8-foot length in with the trunk lid closed if you prop it
up on the dash. I've done that with pieces of pipe and conduit too. My
200q20v avant has folding rear seats, but you don't gain any length, just able to
carry wider things.
