The engine it has should be stated. There's are +/- for both the 1.8t and
the V6.  The 1.8t will be more economical on gas but those engines have had
some issues with sludge.  With 60k on it, is it due for a timing belt in the
near future?  That might be something that sours the deal in the not too
distant future (especially give the family connection maybe).  No car is
maintenance free, but in comparison to a 91 Olds of any ilk an A4 may prove
to be more expensive even for regular maintenance if there's no DIY.
