Da'Lan should have one, through http://www.hitchweb.com

I put on of these on my C5 A6QA oh so many years ago, it's a perfect designed fit, bolts right up (although two new holes do need to be drilled). Total time: <30 minutes.
The towing capacity was 2000 pounds, with a 200 pound tongue weight.

Don't forget that Audi's need the extra $$$ electrical cxonnections that have isolation relays or electronics for the brake and turn signal lights, otherwise your autocheck will stay on.

Subject: installing trailer hitch on C5 A6

Has anyone installed a trailer hitch on a C5 A6? I found one brand, Curtis,
which requires a series of holes to be drilled with the hitch essentially
mounted to the spare tire well.

The last time I installed a hitch (on a Volvo 145 wagon), the frame was
pretapped for the hitch and the hitch mounted solidly to the frame...

Thoughts?

Anyone have a spare hitch for a C5 wagon?

Lee
