Widest tyre/tire for 1990 80Q?

I never tried to push the envelope back when I owned my 90q20v, but
the stock size was 205/50-15 an d 195/60-14. I know people
successfully ran one size wider. Keep in mind that the answer
depends in part of the offset you can tolerate. I say tolerate, since
every decrease in offset increases bump steer, tug, and scrub
radius. 5-10 mm wont hurt much.

I guess I'd wonder why you want to go much wider. The benefit is
minimal, unless you need a wide track tire. But even then a wider
tire will not have a stiff sidewall if pinched in.
