Widest tyre/tire for 1990 80Q?

Interesting - at Lemons South this year they were saying we were the
cleanest group they had seen. I was a bit shocked as I thought there was
a whole hell of a lot of unnecessary/unwarranted contact. We only
suffered a couple of dented corners and a pretty good wack behind the
door...the car we used is definitely ok for extra curricular activities
post race...

I've run in lemons three times and I'ld have to say you don't want to
push
it on tire width, because after someone gives you a few love taps you
really come to appreciate any extra space you had between your wheel and
your front-end components. Any time we've had tecnical problems it's
been related to contact and suspension... destroyed rear axles, broken
steering racks, etc. I would concentrate more on having SPARE wheels
with you for when you run over the giant chunk of hearse that just fell
off in front of you and cracked your rim and slashed your tire.

I also wouldn't expect to be able to Auto-X it after Lemons except after
a
lot of fixing of stuff. We were able to resurrect year 2's car for year
3, but not without a lot of wrenching.
