That's true for the 3.2 model, but the 2.0T is available with 6-speed
manual, CVT (front drive only) or Tiptronic 6-speed auto (quattro).

Everything I have read points to this as well. It's a shame that the V6 isn't available with the 6-speed as well,
but I wouldn't buy the V6 anyways. As long as there is a manual with 2.0T and quattro, it will still be on my list.
