Loud hissing sound when pressing the clutch pedal

There is this hissing noise even without touching the pedal. But it gets
noticeably louder as soon as I barely touch it. Any chance that this is
hydraulic or pneumatic? I just find it a strange coinsidence if the clutch
cylinder got the air inside (probably need to replace) and throwout bearing
go out at the same time.
