fragile paint on the newer cars?

Not just blue and not just Chevy. GM had an issue in the late 80's/early
90's with their paint processes. I regularly see cars and trucks from that
era that have peeling paint. My GF's stock 80k mile 92 Firebird is white
and is peeling somewhere on every horizontal surface.
