Audi has a complete line of diesel engines. Some parts are shared with the
VW diesels, some parts are unique to the Audi engines. The diesel engine in
an Audi will sport the 4-ring logo on it's bits and pieces, so folks won't
presume it's a VW diesel.
As for "bulletproof", well, I hear they are more "bullet resistant" than
recent Mercedes diesels. The I5 is "bulletproof" :)
