Frozen Doors Shut

Isn't it interesting how a car so well engineered, and exported to
markets that have cold weather that this happens. Reminds me of my
father's '83 Alfa GTV-6. There were times he drove it on "nice"
winter days, and had a similar problem- he could get the doors open,
but not shut them. The locks and/or cylinders expanded, thus
preventing the doors from being shut.
