ACNA Daytona event update

Rick,

I got some excellent pictures of your Coupe! I'll be posting them as soon
as I sort through the nearly 1,000 images I shot. DOH! I'll delete the
blurry ones and rotate the ones I shot 'upright' in the next day or so. Let
me pre-apologize for not centering all of the images. I'm still practicing
panning with an image and some of you were REALLY moving! I got smart(er)
after awhile and moved to the extreme end of the pit wall where you were
braking for turn #1. That was one of the slowest points on the track and
gave me a fighting chance. ;-)

Since I don't know who owns most of the vehicles, it would be great if some
of you could leave comments under some of the images detailing things like
model/year/modification, etc.

One of these times I'll have to join ya'll on-track. For now I just enjoy
taking the pictures.

Let me take this opportunity to thank Scott too. I'm glad I was able to
bring his 200 to the event--for his sake--but it was a GREAT time for me
too. I got to drive a nice Audi for 2,500 miles, meet a bunch of great
folks, see some excellent racing.....err, time trials....and managed to
sneak in a side trip to the Virginia Aviation Museum. (Hey, it was on my way
home!)

Cheers,
Mark

  Scott,

The coupe you saw (silver/graphics) was probably mine. Awsome event, even
if
I was one of the slowest. The old 10vt was almost 20 PSI short on boost
for
some reason, but I made do and had a great time. Once in a lifetime
opportunity! I saw a white type 44 on the last day. Was that you?

  Rick
