Gentlemen and Ladies of the Quattro list,
 
It seems as though my 88 80q is intent on me being its rightful owner for a  
few more days.
 
I'm trying to fix some little things before I sell it, and the little  things 
are winning.
 
I've been driving around without a working radio for the past couple of  
days.  Then, this evening, the radio works, but the buttons don't light  up.  
Further investigation reveals that the radio works only when the  lights are on -- 
either headlight or parking.  No music when they are  off.
 
Interesting.  
 
Can someone point me in some kind of direction so that I don't spend the  
entire weekend tracking down a silly electrical problem.
 
Do I bother looking in the car at all, or should I go straight to the brake  
light wires in the trunk?
