Another Audi feature

The automatic locking feature when you exceed 15 MPH or put the car into
gear is a feature I'm NOT a fan of. With the Audis, it can be disabled with
VAG-COM (VCDS).

My father liked that feature and programmed it into his new 2001 Lexus LS430
Ultra Luxury (WHAT a car to travel in!). He had a minor heart attack while
driving (age 54). Because the doors were locked, the ambulance couldn't get
into the car and he became hypoxic. Almost no heart damage, but he died in
a coma several days later. Had they got him out of the car quickly and
administered CPR, he would've fully recovered.

That said, it was his choice to program that feature. I cautioned him
against it (for that very reason) and had already disabled that in my own
2000 S4.
