Someone in management was involved in that decision, driven by marketing
and an end of the year bonus. The engineering and user interface teams
were screaming and yelling Nooooooo!
BTW - what part of NM does it snow in?

Subject: Another Audi feature
This one I could do without!
I moved the snow in front of my cars, and then moved the cars forward so
that I could remove the snow around where they were sitting. I left the
car running while I got rid of the snow behind, so the car could warm
up. When I went to move the car back, it had locked all its doors while
it sat there running! Great. Now my keys to the car and house are inside
the locked car, and I cannot get into the locked house! Great feature!
(Fortunately, there was someone inside the house, so I could get the
other set of keys.)
This happened with my wife's Audi (2000 A6) before, when the door locks
were frozen as well, but I thought it was a freak case. Now I see it was
all part of the plan!
Who came up with this idea?
