That's an overstatement, but since we're bench racing- there's no way that
you could out lap a WRX with just a chipped UrS with mild brake and
suspension upgrades at Lime Rock.
I'll also put money down that the best Boxster times are better than 928
times at LRP. You don't have enough straightaway to use the power advantage
of a 928 at a track like LRP. Now if you were talking about the Glen, VIR,
Laguna Seca or some other places, I would agree.
I had a huge power advantage over both an ITR and a Boxster at Summit Point
and they still lapped faster- had to point them by every time. I really
don't think the kid in the ITR was a better driver than me, just that his
car was a much better suited car for Summit than a '91 200- his speed off
the corners was much better than mine.
