How much amperage can an alternator support? no really...

My cooling fan is on a manual switch and I typically run it always-on
(eliminates one more point of failure in the temp-switch). Any idea what
amperage that draws?

If you have the stock fan, it is rated at 250W (ETKA). So this must
translate to 20 amps, more or less a few. You can always check the actual
draw by inserting various fuses, 15A, 20A, 25A and see which one blows...
