Tihol,

You're considering a '97 Volvo w/136K and a '99 Audi w/100K.  For the same 
price you can probably buy a 2003+ Subaru Legacy GT wagon with less than 
half the miles.

Just a thought.....

Fords. And
  that is more true if both were new.  But since they aren't, you're

  comparing two old cars with lots of miles on them. My belief is that
you'll have
  to look at them both and decide which is the better *used* car.  My
guess is
  that the Audi, 2 years newer and with fewer miles on it, might be the
better of
