This is a cheap place for me to say, YES!

About 18 months ago I acquired an old chebby truck (78.K20.350.turbo400)

Once I decided to keep it (ie, I got the plow hardware I needed), first
priority was to get my hands on the factory manual, the wiring digrams,
the Haynes, the owner's manual - ie, all the hardcore documentation of
it. I study them before I whine to my chevy-pro friends (luckily I have
an awesome database dump next door) that "I don't get it".

Going even more off topic, the neighbor who runs the shop bought his
dream car about the same time. A '69 AMX. I watch and learn while he
does body work (awesome way to learn!), and I, and his younger
employees, school him on how to buy parts on eBay.

Maybe I'll try to find a factory shop manual for him for Easter.
Although, I suspect he already knows the car inside out (he owned one 28
years ago)

End of documentation rant :)
