What is the purpose of this list?

The purpose is to give support, When one can! Not everyone is driving an
antique and would not have the info or manual. Many people over the years
have helped me, when they could. Some suggestions were just that, a memory
of what it might be. Those are accepted as well.
My 1990 80 non-q and I will ask for help when necessary, BTDT's are always
welcome. But having an old car is material, an old memory is fading. Don't
expect help, be thankful if someone does help.

The purpose of this list comes down to a few things for me.

1)    (im)moral support on all things Audi from repairs to dealer problems
etc.
2)    Innumerable btdt to help flatten the learning curve for first timers
3)    Words of wisdom and support

Over the years and three quattros and one coupe GT people have been a real
help keeping my cars on the road.  Thanks to all the regulars and others
especially Huw who always finds time to provide opinions and guidance.
Sorry if I have forgotten any other regulars, Huw just came to mind.

In my opinion the purpose of this list is to promote home maintenance and
general q camaraderie.  Good for all of us.
