tires

I don't have experience with lots of tires like some of you guys. I
fell for the reviews on Tire Rack and bought a set of General Exclaims
(225/50/16) for my lowered S4 (camber plates).
I couldn't get those tires off my car fast enough. They squirmed
badly, my Suburban with Michelin all-seasons gave me more confidence.
I handled the Exclaims prior to mounting and I had a bad feeling. The
sidewall was very soft and thin. I don't know how they got the
speed/load rating they have - these are very weak tires.
I ended up taking a set of discontinued Yokos, which handle
crisply, much louder, and if I don't rotate them about every 3K miles
I'm sure I'll hate them within 10K miles.
