Slick Steering Wheel

The leather 3-spoke steering wheel on my car is starting to get shiny and slick. I treat it several times a year with Meguiar's leather conditioner/cleaner, same thing I use on the seats. The seats don't have the shinyness of the wheel. How can I get a softer, more grippy feeling back?

I noticed that my putter grip has the same issue. That's an easier fix - I'm having it regripped.
