'95 A6 - Catalytic converter

I've gutted the kitties for "test purposes", it's not as easy as it
sounds, it can be a real PITA to break them up and get the guts out.  As
said before, you'll have to do both, you can't just do one.  Back when I
did them the only option was OEM @ about $1000, the prices for after
market bolt on cats have come WAY down.  From a practical point of view,
after market cats can be had for under $200 if you shop around, not worth
the effort involved in gutting the existing ones IMHO.
