"Can also" if you raised your kids to be thrill-seeking, yes.
My first car was a 240 and I dug it. I liked the fact that my mother cared 
enough about me to see past my whining about it being slow and saw safety 
first. Isn't that good parenting, not listening to what your kids want and 
doing what they need, instead?
