Out-of-State Car Transport

I had the same situation. My car is registered in
VA and sold it to someone from NY. What I did was had the buyer send me the money. I filled out the title and
bill of sale with all of the info except the buyers signature and sent those back. With those 2
documents he is able to go to the NY DMV and get tags.



NY and VA don't require any signatures to be notarized. I believe NY will only give a temp tag for instate transport
