Do I need to replace door lock?

I had to swap cylinders when I did our V8#1 a year or so ago. As I reported earlier, SJM says there are two sets of kit numbers, one for earlier cars and one for the V8 era cars, so it's possible you didn't need to replace the cylinder on the earlier one. Here's a pix of the old/new lever part: http://www.pbase.com/kneale_brownson/image/100875828 The "next" button gets you to a pix of the cylinder ready to be installed after I switched the springs and pins.

Well, I remember why I don;t have the part number/price in some old
spreadsheet - I got my "new" part from a parts car that had had it
replaced. I don't recall having to swap the cylinder to do it, though,
are you sure about that part? This was on an '89 90Q.
One of these days I need to do the passenger side, so I guess I'll
"know" then!
