You select a car model--A6 in your case--and then you get a list of years, so you select your year, and then you get a list of major parts areas such as engine, transmission, suspension with steering or something like that, body, etc. After selecting the general area you want (it takes some doing to become familiar with the way Audi breaks down its parts. For instance, the power steering PUMP is part of the engine section, but the rest of the power steering system is with the front suspension stuff.), you're given a more specific listing. Under engine, for example, you may find "ventilation for the engine block" or "vacuum connections", etc. When you pick a final item, you get a diagram with associated parts numbers.
