[s-cars] Tires for B5 S4

Mine are the Z1 Stars, and they're pretty quiet. I do hope I get more than
12K miles out of them...that would make two seasons on the A4, which would
be acceptable...

I somehow doubt the StarSpecs (which are a performance step beyond the
Sports) be the least bit quiet anyway. They are in the same catagory as the
Bridgestone RE01R, Falken Azenis RT615 and to a somewhat lesser degree the
Hankook Z212 RS2. All are just one step below DOT-R rubber, have ultra stiff
sidewalls, very low voids in the tread, and hence ride harshly and are
comparatively noisy, and aren't the absolute best at evacuating water from
under their contact patches. They are the top dogs of the SCCA Street Tire
classes, and while much more streetable than DOT-R's, they aren't for the
faint of heart. Most would be hard pressed to last more than 12K miles,
particularly on a less than lightweight UrS.

The Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec are cheap and have great reviews. The
problem is, there are none to be had...
