Is anyone using Nitrogen in their tires?

I've also seen, trackside teams that have N2 bottles use them to run air
tools such as grinders and impact guns...

I see two and only two possible advantages for using Nitrogen in tires.

1.      Using a tank of nitrogen gas to fill a tire relieves the need 
for a compressor to provide compressed air at trackside.  (Is this an 
advantage?)

2.      For long term storage keeping the rubber surfaces without 
oxygen might reduce the rate of surface oxidation for the 
tires.  This might be of value if long-term is interpreted as meaning 
multiple years.  Of course, filling the tire with nitrogen will help 
keep oxygen away from the interior of the tie but will accomplish 
nothing for the exterior surfaces.

Other than that the other claims sound pretty much like snake oil ads.
