oh...OK.  It's definitely the lack of OEM POS PSO's - I had a POS OPS SOP 
PSO break on me once - took me weeks to get the change out from under the 
seats.
....nevermind....
The random cutout you're experiencing sounds like when my 5ktq had a loose 
ECU ground - when the ground was lost you could feel a the car shudder while 
driving, and then it wouldn't idle.....which is not so good when the brake 
accumulator needs a recharge badly - good thing I have big feet that can 
easily bridge the gas and brake simultaneously to keep the car running while 
bringing it to a stop.  Not sure where the ECU on an S-Car gets it's ground, 
but you might check that - the loss of power might make it forget that there 
was a hiccup.
