95 A6q Climate Control Frustrations

My Climate control head seems to not want to follow my commands.

I'm having trouble decreasing fan speed, although I can ratchet it when I want.

Same thing with the temp -- lowering temp works, increasing temp does not.

Defrost and Auto buttons similarly do not want to respond.

Can I fix these problems, or do I need a replacement head? If replacement is needed, does anyone have a spare?
