I would go to motorgeek.com. I used to frequent that site multiple times daily, and most of the guys are true motor geeks. If it requires scraped knuckles, finger nails that are never clean, and your idea of a fun story is recanting the time you had to change an accessory belt on the side of the freeway, in a downpour, at night, armed with only a Leatherman, it's the place to go.

My 'gift' is I can build Cisco networks in my sleep (and PCs, and servers), and I consider myself to be a reasonably intelligent human. However, I have nothing on most of the 'high posters' over at MG. I'd seriously consider dropping my left nut to have brain synapses replaced with Bosch plugs like those guys.
