What Dennis said. I miss Satch's column in AW too. It was his articles and the AW rally racing coverage where I first heard of the great Audi Quattro. I still recall the (large format newsprint) issue of AW with the Quattro on the cover with the headline "From Here to Quattrernity" on the front.

Oh, and now it is more like $80-90 to fill the tank of an Ur-Q here in CA :(
